REGISTRATION FOR 2011/13 SUMMER SEASON
Registration for 2012/13 Summer season with the Pirates is now open on the Quakers Hill Pirates website!! This year we encourage all of our members returning to play with the Pirates to register as early as possible. This helps us begin preparing for the assignment of coaches, allocation of equipment, grading process and formation of teams. Knowing our numbers as early as possible assists us to plan each of these elements.
All registrations will have to be completed by 31 July 2012 so that players who need to participate in grading can do so in early August (more information about the 2012/13 season grading process will be distributed shortly). Registering early avoids the risk of missing this important date.

This year the Quakers Hill Pirates are offering an early bird discount on all registrations for t-ball/ baseball payed in full by the following dates for each age group:

*U7 early bird expires 12 Oct 2012 (after which the standard fee is payable)
**U8~U17 early bird expires 29 Jul 2012 (after which the standard fee is payable)

On line registration is available for all past baseball and softball players by logging onto your previous account and for new members by creating a new member account structure. Once you complete setting up the details of your account and your players, you can register and pay for multiple players at the one time - without the hassle of completing the whole form each time. Plus your account is ongoing so you can login and manage your details, plus register and pay for players at any time in the future.

Our security has also been bolstered on the registration form with all details now protected by SSL security. For added convenience we also offer an online payment facility by credit card.

CAR PARK UPGRADE AT CORBIN RESERVE
Commencing from 3rd July 2012, Blacktown City Council will be commencing a capital works project to upgrade the car park area at Corbin Reserve. Once the project is complete, the car park will have the capacity for 52 car spaces including one disabled spot. The council expects that the project will take approximately 1 month to complete (weather permitting). Construction will be undertaken in a staged approach to minimise disruption, but during the project, the capacity of our car park will be reduced and some disruption may occur.

The Quakers Hill Pirates thanks Blacktown City Council for their ongoing support.

SMBL MASTERS 2012
The rain which traditionally haunts our Masters Competition in June held off long enough this year for us to complete all games this afternoon.
As always games were played in good spirit but the two days added a few stories for future reminiscence. Competition was very equal in both pools with all teams going into the final day with a chance of winning the overall competition.
Kellyville defeated St Marys 12 – 7 today to become the SMBL Masters Champions for the second time.
Their last Championship win was the Inaugural competition in 2005.
