Corbin Working Bee - help desperately needed

Sunday 18th March

Please help revive our pride and joy CORBIN RESERVE.

On Sunday 18th March we will be having a working bee to revitalise the best Baseball diamond in NSW.

Corbin is looking very sick and sorry from all the rain we have had. If we can spend some time and get Corbin back in action we may have the opportunity to host Junior and senior Grand Finals, also for the 1st round of the SWBL Pirates Winter Major League which is also our junior presentation day.

What a great incentive for the kids and fathers who make up 90% of our seniors. We will be starting at 9am till 1pm. If you can spare 4 hours that would be ideal, however if you can only spare 2 hours it would be greatly appreciated by the very hard working and dedicated Grounds Committee. We will supply a BBQ lunch and a cool drink. The very committed grounds committee are desperate for help, they very rarely ask and have been happy to work week in week out.

I cannot express how devastated they are!!

Please help...

Come and cheer Pirates teams in Grand Finals this weekend

This coming weekend is Grand Final weekend for junior baseball teams. We have two Pirates teams contesting for premierships with U14 QH Red going up against Hawkesbury and U12 QH White to compete against Castle Hill. Both teams finished as minor premiers and will now see if they can bring home the big trophy in the GF this weekend.

Match Venue Time
QH Red vs Hawkesbury Corbin 8:30
QH White vs Castle Hill Kellyville 10:30

Come along in your colours this weekend and cheer your fellow junior Pirates.

In our senior sides - the QH Me'Hearties have qualified for the Grand Final in G1 grade after winning a tight fought semi-final against Winston Hills 7-6. The grand final is on Saturday 24th March.

Plus the Quakers Hill Pirates in F2 Grade will contest the preliminary final this weekend against Kellyville for a spot against Castle Hill in the Grand Final.

Pirates Softball Fever - all teams make the semis

The Pirates softball sides are also having an exceptional season.

From our 4 junior teams ALL teams have qualified for the semi finals which is a tremendous effort and a testament to all our dedicated coaches and officials. Every player should be immensely proud of themselves and the way in which each team has conducted themselves both on and off the diamond. To top that off, the three senior softball sides all look like qualifying for the semi finals as well!!

Weather aside I believe it has been a great season once again. With the help of all families and players, we as a club have fulfilled all canteen and umpiring duties with no fuss and each week the games have run smoothly.

The softball semi finals and grand final are set for the weekend of 24/25th March and it would be great to see as many Pirates supporters as possible down at the games. Times and venue will be uploaded once the information is available.
