Online Registration Policy

Privacy Policy

  1. Quakers Hill Pirates Baseball and Softball Club Incorporated (“Quakers Hill Pirates”) is dedicated to keeping your details private. As part of the online player registration process, we may ask you to provide certain information pertaining to yourself/your child for the purposes of facilitating and administering the player registration.
  2. Where required, player information may also be supplied to the Hills Junior Baseball Association, NSW Baseball League Inc, Cumberland/Nepean Softball Association or any other relevant governing body for the sports of baseball and/or softball with which the Quakers Hill Pirates are affiliated with.
  3. Any information we collect in relation to you/your child, is kept strictly secured and is only made available to authorised members of the Quakers Hill Pirates administration. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details to person(s), organisation(s) or other entities outside of the Quakers Hill Pirates with the exception of the governing bodies (where required) outlined in point 2.
  4. Upon finalisation of registration and the allocation of you/your child to a team, selected details in the form of a contact list may be forwarded to the team’s appointed Head Coach / Manager for the purposes of individual team administration.
  5. The club may also use your personal details such as email address to send you information relevant to the operation of the club and the sport over the season (such as club newsletters and announcements). By registering you/your child to the Quakers Hill Pirates you consent to the club sending you these electronic messages from time to time.   6. Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its "IP address," and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer's IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous.
  7. We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access the Quakers Hill Pirates website except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when completing the player registration form and pressing submit. After completing the form, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.

Pricing Policy

  • All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax) as of 28 July 2010.
  • Registration fees are determined by the standing Executive Committee and are used to cover player insurance, fees for registration with the relevant association/league and for the purchase and maintenance of club equipment and facilities.
  • A portion of the fee payment is also used to cover administrative costs associated with offering the online registration service.
  • All fees must be payed prior to the commencement of the playing season to successfully complete registration.
  • To qualify for any early bird discounts that may be offered from time to time, full season payment is required before the early bird cut-off date. Failure to complete this payment will result in the full standard fee amount being charged.

Refund Policy

  • Please consider the player registration carefully.
  • We do not normally give refunds except in the case where a registered player never participates or commences with the Club and a refund is requested before insurance and association registration payments are passed on to the relevant bodies.
  • If you simply change your mind or decide to no longer participate in the season, the club does not provide nor is obligated to provide a refund.

Security Policy

  • When purchasing a player registration from the Quakers Hill Pirates your financial details are passed through a secure server using a minimum of 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.
  • 128-bit SSL encryption is the industry standard for transmitting financial data over the Internet.
  • The Quakers Hill Pirates does not store any credit card details on our website.
